Fitness Keeper is a health care system that recognizes and records the physical activities of a person using smartphones.
The system consist of two parts front-end and back-end.
The system front-end operates on android based smartphones and uses the accelerometer of the mobile phone and “GPS” to collect data of these activities thus the system is easy to use and doesn’t enforce the user to have additional operating requirements like other wearable sensors or fixed position for the sensors.
The system provides real-time recognition of the user physical activities.
The system back-end operates on a remote server that uses the data collected by the mobile application and Science physical activities analysis can provide valuable information regarding an individuals degree of functional ability and lifestyle.
